ADDITIONAL INFORMATION |
| |
| Hook
and Loop are coated with finish oils which are non-hazardous
by criteria of the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. Textile
processes may volatilize portions of these finishes and in case
visible misting is produced in the workplace, ventilation is
recommended to minimize exposure to such finish mists which
should not exceed a concentration of 5mg/cu meter. |
| |
| The
originally rated breaking strength of the Hook & Loop can
be affected, ranging from slightly to heavy degradation. The
factors which can determine the strength loss are: continuous
exposure to ultra violet light, mechanical defects, such as
tears, cuts, burns, extensive abrasion
etc. The process
of sewing with thread and needle will cause a certain loss of
strength as well. |
