Polypropylene Webbing
Polypropylene (“Polypro”) webbing is a cost-effective alternative to nylon and polyester webbing. Key benefits of Polypro include its ability to resist stretch, stains, soils, odors, mold, moisture and mildew. It is suitable for use in damp or wet conditions and is often employed in children’s accessories, food service industries, hospitals and other applications where ease of cleaning is required. Polypro webbing is also seen in the medical, fashion and sporting goods industries where it is often used for belts, straps, collars & leashes, bag handles, diving gear, and straps for life jackets, sleeping bags and backpacks.
Please note: Polypro webbing is not as abrasion resistant as nylon or polyester, and should also not be used in situations requiring extreme heavy load bearing.
